Abstract

Because of the globalization process, it became necessary rethink the paradigms in use, since the contradictions of the interethnic process and the intercul-tural conflicts are faster. Nowadays, in an world where multiculturalism prevails, the coexistence with “the other”, although complex, needs to be respect and tolerate in order that the otherness doesn’t became a barrier in social relations, and the possibility of opening for dialogues among civilizations be a reality.
